Let’s Do Something Great
Join me on tour for Someone’s Gotta Give in 2025
Every morning until she went away to college, Lucia would sit at the breakfast table with her abuelo. He would pour himself a cortado and Lucia her own café con leche (just milk and sugar until she was old enough for real coffee). They’d have their cups together, and she always felt very grown-up. After they finished, Abuelo would clear their mugs from the table and put his hand on her shoulder.
“Vamos, mija,” he would say. “Let’s go do something great.”
Taylor had Eras. Beyonce had Cowboy Carter. Join me and some very special friends for the Do Something Great Tour 2025.
Expect witty conversation with incredible special guests, cookies from our amazing partners Insomnia Cookies, fun and maybe even a costume change or two.
In the spirit of doing something great, throughout the tour we’ll be fundraising for non-profits supporting communities, immigrants and refugees like Poderistas, Global Giving, Americans for Immigrant Justice, This is About Humanity and more.
More events are being added all the time, so keep checking back, or better yet, send me an email and tell me where you’d like me to visit! I can’t wait to do something great with you this fall.

Miami: Make This Your What If Year
Have you ever asked yourself “what if”? Or longed to chase the things you’ve dreamed of doing but never got the opportunity?
Miami native and author Alisha Fernandez Miranda did that, at almost 40, leaving her job as CEO to take unpaid internships on Broadway, and in fitness, art and hospitality. Join Alisha to celebrate the second anniversary of the book she wrote detailing her experience, My What If Year, with a workshop designed to help you explore and action your own what ifs.
In this soul-searching, interactive session, Alisha will take you through how she defined her “what if”, the biggest mistakes she made, how she turned her dream into a reality and share advice and practical tools on making 2025 your what if year.

Pitch, Please: Make This Your What If Year
The most common question I got from people across my book tour and events for My What If Year was, hands down: how can I do this for myself? Whether you’re at the very beginning of your journey – trying to figure out what your what if even is – or you’re holding tight to your dream but wondering how to achieve it, I’ve got you covered.
In this soul-searching, challenging, practical workshop, I’ll take you through my process of figuring out your own what ifs and creating a plan to achieve them.
Note this class takes place live online on December 8th from 12-2pm Eastern/ 5 - 7pm UK and costs $75.
Sign up now or book a spot in all three workshops at a discount.

Pitch, Please: Standing Out in a Crowd
Putting yourself and your personal brand out there - whether you’re applying for your dream job or working on growing your online presence – can be a nerve-wracking process. What are people looking for? How do I get noticed in a giant sea of others? Am I framing my experience and my brilliance correctly?
My new class aims to take the mystery out of getting your dream job and building up a professional presence online. From the simple mistakes that too many people make to the most common ways we sell ourselves short, the objective of this class is to offer practical tips and guidance on how to best position you and your amazingness, using a resume, cover letter or application video – for whatever role you have your heart set on. Consider it the first page in crafting the next chapter of your life!
